The Cloud Italy Strategy establishes that cloud providers who intend to provide Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) services intended for public administrations must obtain the qualification issued for these services by the National Cybersecurity Agency. The objective of the requirements is to guarantee the full operational management of the services, in particular the technical-organizational application standards and data control measures; as well as security requirements for data management, service provision and contractual conditions relating to reporting.
